Simulation on a rainy morning and rain pouring down suddenly, catching the attention of everyone walking down the street. I quickly put on my raincoat and got inside, and the rain fell directly into my face.
As the sun began to set, we all waited for our chance to see some of the strange things that could happen in the world. Around noon, the rain started piling up as the streets began to feel heavy. We were standing there looking at each other when we heard a sudden crash near us—a car from a distance suddenly turned to the right and went off into the distance.
The sound was sharp, like a combination of thunder and crackles. Without warning, I turned around and saw an old man, his face covered in sallowing expression, walking over to the road. His eyes were fixed on us as he began to move, but then they started to veer off suddenly—just like that.
The man looked heavily at the car, its lights flickering ominously. He pulled out a notepad from behind him and pulled out some notes with bloodstained pages and wet cloth fragments stuck to them. As I looked at his actions, I could tell he was about to make some pretty serious moves—his eyes were trained on the car, and his footsteps were heavy.
I pressed on, trying to keep my balance as I turned, but soon I found myself sitting in front of him. The man's hand started to tremble before he raised a step, and the car zoomed off into the distance with the familiar faint sound of "stop." The road ahead seemed clear enough for me to walk through—until it didn't.
As I started walking, my heart raced. I saw his back towards me and quickly turned around, taking my breath away. I looked at him in surprise—his face was as bright as a sun on a sunny day, but the red eyes stuck in place of something more mysterious. He moved quickly, dropping the notepad into the trunk of the car, which then swerved slightly before hitting the side of his bike.
"You're going to be stopped," he growled, looking directly at me as I turned around. My stomach hit hard with a mix of fear and relief as I realized what was happening. The man had made a mistake—this car was not going anywhere safe. He looked down at the bloodstained pages in front of him and took a breath that left only one small tear on his face.
As I continued walking, I could feel my heart race against hope. I pressed on, thinking about how this must have been happening to another person—the man in front of us—just like that. But as the sky darkened, I saw something else was going on in the distance—a small circle of light moving away from him, slowly and steady.
"Look at it," I whispered to myself, my voice barely above a whisper. The light began to take shape, and before I knew it, it had become an entire vehicle. My heart raced as I watched the car move past me into the night.
Then, just in time, I saw that this vehicle was locked up beside a pile of debris on the side of the road. As it fell down, my eyes widened in panic—this could be dangerous. My breath came out in short gasps before I could see what was happening inside.
A small car with two kids was sitting behind the wheel. The driver's face was covered in sunken brows, his expression almost identical to that of the man we had just seen. As I looked around, I could tell he was already in a panic, trying to hide something within himself—something that must be right.
I turned and faced him once more, my breath coming out weak as I stepped back into the night. I turned the light on for them all at the same time, but as they started to fall, I saw something even worse—a bright red glow began to flicker in their headlights.
